Task sharing : CEA-Leti, FT R&D, ITE-TCL define scenarios to be taken into account in studies and evaluation criteria of multiple access techniques SC-FDMA and MIMO. CEA-Léti, FT R&D, ITE-TCL, TeamCast, Eurécom et Supélec select and specify PHY/MAC algorithms to implement in the demonstrator. They also provide a test bench which is used as reference to validate demonstrator's performance. They propose and analyse advanced PHY/MAC techniques performance. The test bench will be integrated by FT R&D with the tool Galacsy. About the demonstrator : - § Teamcast takes care the Radio-Frequency frontend (Tx, Rx)
- § ITE is responsible of base station integration, relying on Nallatech BenNUEY-PCI-4E plateform composed of 3 Xilinx Virtex xc4 vlx160 and 1 Xilinx xc2vp50
- § CEA-Léti is in charge of terminal integration based on Faust2 plateform and its MAGALI (NoC) chipset and FGPA Virtex5 LX110T
- § EURECOM is responsible of specification and development of the MAC layer. This layer is integrated at the base station level by ITE and CEA-Leti at terminal level.
