Collaborative WEB Tools The following tools are provided by the OpenAirInterface team for collaborative web-based development : These services are managed by our labs sysadmin, Pascal Mayani. Feel free to contact him in case of trouble. OpenAirInterface SVN Repository OpenAirInterface software and hardware (that is FPGA related) development is maintained with and SVN server hosted by EURECOM. The server can be accessed through the internet after users have been approved for inclusion among the list of developers. We may restrict access to read only until we're confident that the people are responsible and are capable of contributing. Typically, the people outside EURECOM requiring the ability to "commit" changes to OpenAirInterface are project partners in collaborative public initiatives (ANR, ICT, etc.). For such people, this is not a problem and you will receive instructions on how to contribute to the repository. There are currently four repositories : -
openair0 : contains hardware and firmware for our FPGA platforms. It can still be useful for people who do not have our equipment to a limited extent. -
openair1 : contains our physical layer (PHY) software MODEM development for PCs along with RTAI/Linux device drivers and user-space tools for our hardware. The PHY stuff can be used for OFDMA modem performance simulation or for real-time software MODEMs. -
openair2 : contains our layer2 protocol stack development for PCs along with Linux networking device drivers for IP/MPLS interconnection. This pertains to both cellular and mesh network topologies. - openair3 : contains our Layer3 protocol stack development for both all-IP cellular and IP/MPLS mesh networks.
A monthly updated snapshot of the SVN repository for anybody to download can be found here. OpenAirInterface TWiki A TWiki server is also available for users of OpenAirInterface. It contains practical information regarding software installation, machine configuration, code compilation, etc. People using OpenAirInterface are invited to contribute to the writing of this site, it'll make using OpenAirInterface easier for everyone. Also, we'd like to have people contribute by writing short documents regarding some of the more interesting features and mechanisms in OpenAirInterface, such as PHY/MAC algorithms, routing protocols, etc.
The TWiki server can be accessed here. To get access to it, send someone a message on the forum and you will get an invitation with a password. OpenAirInterface Forum A Bulletin Board forum has been created to exchange information between developers and people curious about what going on here. This is the preferred means for direct information exchange. OpenAirInterface Bugzilla A Bugzilla has been created to report bugs. |
